Google Maps allowed websites like ours to display 25,000 dynamic maps a day for free, but they recently limited the usage to 28,000 maps a month. For us this meant that they wanted to charge us over 1000$ a month for a service they offered for free the last few years, that's why we had to disable some of the maps on short notice.

Thanks for the offer to help, but we are already working on a solution based on opensource data to avoid such issues in the future. We want uboat.net to stay a non-profit educational website.
