Type XXI Gun Turrets

<HTML>Can anyone explain how Type XXI Gun Turrets were aimed and fired etc?
Every picture i see has the guns pointing forward?
How were these aimed?
How many degrees left and right could these guns point?
Can\'t see how the gunners would have a clear all round view or at least 180 degree view as in open air guns like the older Type Boats?
