Dear,

To access [historisches-marinearchiv.de] to see the main events of U870's life, you do not have to be registered for that. You just use the flags in the left top of the screen (above the tab 'search form') to choose a language (German - English - Dutch) in which you want to work the database. For U870 you enter the U-number (=870) in the block 'boat number', and hit the ENTER key.

When selecting the tab 'description' (instead of 'search form') you get a ... description of the database DUIKBOOT.

Similar for the database with the crew lists.

One only needs to be registered to start (or want to reply to) threads in the forum.
