Belgian cargo ss Kabalo VS Italian sub

Hello,
The Belgian cargoship ss Kabalo (1917), ex-War Myrtle, ex-Caledonier, was shelled and sunk on 15 ocober 1940, in the Atlantic ocean, off the Azores, by the Italian submarine Comandante Cappellini (Cdt.Salvatore Todaro) with the loss of one of her 43 crew. 26 survivors were rescued by the sub Cappellini himself and landed 3 days later on the island of Santa Maria in the Azores. The other ones were rescued by the US tanker ss Panam.
Question : does somebody is- or know some descendants of the Belgian castaways ?
