Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can provide more details on Hermann Hesse. I have one source listing him as an Oblt.z.See in April 1940 when serving aboard the Karlsruhe, and not a Kaplt. Likewise, can someone confirm his DoB (I have a source saying 10.3.09, not 10.3.10) and place of birth?

Also, can someone point me towards who I should contact about obtaining possibly a copy of the picture of the man displayed on his bio page on this site?
