Thank you. No luck there. However, I was able to search on the name Ullmann and fond a few possible hits associated with other U-boats. But alas, no ranks given so still in the dark. There were not that many servicemen with that surname in the Kriegsmarine so I am still hoping to figure out who this is and where he served.
