<HTML>1 Sep 2001 - The Wartime Memories Project website has now been running for one year.
I would like to thank all those people who have added thier recollections and photographs to make this site so sucessful. Also a huge thank you those of you how participate in the active forum that is our message board and to those who have helped others by answering
queries from the \"Can you Answer\" section. Over the first year this website, thanks to its visitors has made several people very happy, old friends have been put back in touch, others have been contacted by relatives of thier wartime comrades or renewed lost contact with evacuees they took care of during the war.
The project is rapidly growing into a community in its own right
I hope the next year will be as sucessful. If you have not yet added your recollections please consider doing so, many of those who have, have found it a rewarding experience.
