<HTML>Does anyone know of the Kapitänleutnat Leonhard Klingspor, Crew 37b and commander of the U 293 and U 1007. Has he any swedish relatives? Is he still alive or what was he`s fate? Klingspor is a name of a swedish family.

This also made me interest in the question if any german u boat commander during the WWll had swedish background of any sort?</HTML>
