<HTML>In the movie The Bedford Incident there was a East German Admiral who was along for the ride in this thriller. The admiral (I think) was a U-boat ace. And was introduced as such when Porter commented that he was from \"Hitler\'s navy.\" At this the Admiral, instantly spoke up and said \"Doenitz\'s navy\".
I have two questions.
1) After hear about how many former U-boat service men now scorn Doenitz for his keeping the U-boat war going after it was lost, does this comment seem accurate? Do U-boat men consider it \'Doenitz\'s navy?\'
2) Did you like The Bedford Incident?
