<HTML>Ha, ha. Good one. Have you listened to the M.Dietrich\' version of \"muss i denn\". Awesome song and awesomely sung. I recently bought a CD called Berlin By Night and it is a compilation of all the berlin cabaret hits of the thirties and forties. Naturally the most famous song on there is Lili Marleen by Lale Andersen. It is SOOOOO different from the ones that are normally available. This one is almost a forties pop version. Nowhere as sultry(in a postive way) as the versions you hear by Dietrich or Vera Lynn. This CD i bought is obviously an AAD recording and you can tell its recorded off of a 78 rpm (probably spring wound gramaphone) record. There is a lot of static that one normally associates with records of those days but nonetheless very charming and beautiful. </HTML>
