<HTML>Can anyone confirm the fact that the U-boat portrayed in \"Raiders of the Lost Ark\" is the same U-boat shell used in the exteriors for the La Rochelle sequence?
I hear a fleeting reference to this fact from Wolfgang Peterson. He was being profiled on a cable network.
He also said (laughingly) something happening to the U-boat shell and that he couldn\'t prove it but he doesn\'t recomend lending German World War 2 props to Steven Speilberg.
Can anyone confirm these facts?
