<HTML>Yes, some of the Raiders scenes were shot using the \"outdoor mockup\" from Das Boot. This was a full-size model and was propelled by a small engine. This model broke up in heavy seas near the end of filming, but they put it back together for the sinking-in-harbor sequence.</HTML>
