<HTML>He made a tidy living from starring in these sort of Films in the mid-1970\'s, as well as the two already mentioned \"land that time forgot\" and \"people that time forgot\" he also did \"warlords of atlantis\" and \"at the earths core\" in all of them he played the same stock american, all round good egg, sort of hero.
I still to this day howl at the simpsons when \"Troy McClure\" appears....he is so obviously based on Doug.</HTML>
