<HTML>I think the footage in question dates from 1945 (often used in b/w films and in most cases, hard to detect) and the boats are moored in Loch Ewe. As well as Typ VII, there appears to be an IXD (with the pinched-in upper decking) and a XXXIII conning tower visible behind the VIIs.
Presumably, those boats not divvied up among the Allies were scuttled in the North Sea in the Deadlight op.</HTML>
