<HTML>Dear Fellow U-Boat fanatics,
I have just read in a German web-page about U-boats that work has already begun on the next Buchheim film, Das Boot 2, and Prochnow and Groenemeyr are in the stage of discussing terms, with the remote possibility of Mr Petersen returning to repeat his triumph, and a release date in 2003. If true, it is exciting news, as long as it does not go the way of Star Wars Episode I, which will be a pity.
