<HTML>Saw a chance on U.K. Ch-4..."Crash Dive".
Just to say that U-571 and it sit in the same bracket....plot in a few words.
Love interets between Exc.Officer and Skipper.......Secret Mission to find and destroy a "Secret Enemy base" ..opposition those dumb "Nazi sailors" who are both blind and die in slow motion when shot.
Plenty of explosions and models going up every fish finds a target and we all live happy ever after.
All in all wartime propaganda best judged in the context in which it was made...to sell war bonds...a snap shot of the era in which it was made.
So were did 571 go wrong ??</HTML>
