A Vastly different Das boot

Lately we have been getting the uncut version of DB on American cable in English. Its so much more longer than the directors cut. It goes to four hours rather than the three you get with pertersens' cut. And there is so much more that is interesting on it that makes me wonder why Wolfie decided to hack. I wonder if there is a german version of this uncut version available on DVD.
