<HTML>Hello Les,
This movie has a lot of footage shot at the Submarine Inactive Ships Facility located at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in early 1950-51. Lot of great old fleet boat footage. Also has some attack teacher/trainer footage as well. Looks like a real conning tower set-up. I believe William Bendix plays a Chief Torpedoman and is the Chief-of-the-boat. I enjoyed the movie with all the fleet boat stuff in it. The story involves a fleet boat pulled out of the reserve fleet and sent off to the Korean War. get the movie to find out what happens......
