I really wonder if Silent Service would have made it into America, had it been a regular celluloid rather than an Anime! I have never seen such a violently(metaphorically speaking) anti-american imperialism movie in all my life. True, an American sub sank a japanese fishing boat but i am wondering if this was their response to that incident (or was it before that time). A single nuke sub taking on the entire pacific fleet and sinking it! The strategies are rather interesting and americans made to resemble dunderheads in resplendant uniforms. I must say i was aghast, to say the least. Your thoughts would be interesting. By the way, I am not slamming anyone or any nation, so please bear in mind not to profanitize me. Thanks
