U-571 and Das Boot

<HTML>Hallo to all those that had their say on the topics "Das Boot and U-571". I am ex Submariner, U-571 is as far as I am concerned
typical Hollywood g....... while Das Boot has some true showings
but still I prefer a war time film that was made when it happend
and I think that many veterans feel the same way, and I mean all ex Submariners regardless in which Navy they sailed.
