I watched "Das Boot" (SuperBit DVD) yesterday - with German sound and Dutch subtitles. The subtitles often don't seem to match with what's being said. Werner DOES say he was drunk, and not those empty words. Now I know why the subtitles seemed wrong: the Dutch subtitles are a translation of the wrong, dubbed English version! I really hate this.
I speak a little German and would have chosen the German subtitles if they were available on this DVD edition.
