Drumbeat Footage

Golly, haven't been around here for ages!

Not sure if people were aware of this, but there is an 8 minute (well, just under) WWII German propaganda film on YouTube about Operation Drumbeat. There are some nice shots of Hardegan and U-123 (and of another Commander and his boat, possibly Zapp and U-66 - I can't quite make out the name) and extensive on board footage which I think was made on U-552 (I'm pretty sure I caught a reference to Kapitanleutnant Topp).

The commentary is, of course, in German, but a mixture of half-remembered schoolboy German and 'Das Boot' alowed me to get the gist of a fair bit of it.
