I have a book that matches your description, its called ‘ Kriegsmarine U-Boats (The Essential Submarine Identification Guide)It could be the one your looking for. I think it was published about 2006, oh yeah, it’s hardback and has a black and white cover. Published by Amber. There’s loads of them for sale on EBay and Amazon. I hope that helps.

I agree but If you watch any modern war film you’re going to find many mistakes, ‘Fury’ for example and that awful movie ‘Pearl harbour’. I’m going to put the inaccuracies to one side and just enjoy Greyhound for what it is, ‘entertainment’ Let’s be honest, we aren’t exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to movies with U-boats.
