Every where, the captions of this photo say "U-135 - Kptlt. Praetorius". This is not U-135. U-135 was a Type VIIC boat, and this is not a Type VII, but a Type II boat. but which one?

Dear all. The docked U-Boat in the image is U-575, at St. Nazaire. Her crewmen is wearing a sweater with the inscritption LILIPUT, the name of a local in Hamburg´s Reeperbahn. But, which one is the entering U-boat, with a strange jumper wires arrangement? Thanks for your help.

She looks like a TYpe VIIC and by the "Snorting Bull" emblem she is a member of 7th U-Boat Flotilla based in St. Nazaire France. She could be U-46, U-47, U-75, U-98, U-103, U-135, U-213, U-227, U-266, U-358, U-359, U-382, U-390, U-442, U-567, U-578, U-590, U-593, U-607, U-618, U-714 and U-976.

Thanks to all, and specially to Axel. The origin of the photo: Facebook, Royal Navy Submarine Museum "While we are on the subject of German U boats, this photograph was brought into the museum and shows a WWII U boat in Norway taken after the war, does anybody recognise where exactly?"

There are two interesting features: - It has a three digits white number, painted at least in the starboard side of the conning tower - It has a (black?) two engine aircraft profile, painted in front of the conning tower. Emblem?, victory marking?
