Okay, thanks very much. Do you know of an English-language book which includes this topic? I'm surprised that constant bombing didn't prevent the construction of these important targets, during a period when Britain had an active bomber force, the target was close, and Churchill considered the Atlantic lifeline Britain's most worrisome problem. Does anyone know why the new German submarine pens at L'Orient were not bombed by the Allies when the pens were being constructed for 2 years, 1941-43? It seems to me the construction would have been vulnerable. Does anyone know books which cover this? Thanks. Flaccus
