thanks Phil the question is if the first position is point degrees or degrees minutes. 05.46N, 100.04E (.46 deg or 46' the difference would be a distance of 16nm. plotted in the maps here it is used as 46' and 04' as opposed to .46deg and .04deg.

3. U-859 POSITION
in all literature the position for this u-boat is WRITTEN as 05.46N, 100.04E. normally this would translate to: 05° 27.600'N, 100° 2.400'E if so, the location shown on the maps here are incorrect as they were entered as 05deg 46min., 100deg 04min. any clarification? thank you axel
