  We've installed a set of pages documenting the fascinating expedition led by Innes McCartney onto the German U-boats scuttled near Ireland in 1945-1946. See them at this page.

  17:27 - Stabsobermaschinist Heinrich Dammeier passed away on May 16 this year. He was one of the extremely few non-commanders to receive the Knights Cross. He was 87 years old.
