27 Feb 1945
On 27 February 1945 HMS Seadog (Lt. E.A. Hobson, RN) rescued three US airmen from a raft in the Bay of Bengal. Shortly afterwards Seadog rescued another. Later Seadog rendezvoused with RAF Catalina to transfer these survivors.
