HMS Una (Lt. C.A.J. Nicholl, RN) is recalled from Campbeltown to Rothesay to take on board fuel and provisions as she is sent on patrol off Norway as the British think that the German batleship Tirpitz is going to leave Northern Norway for repairs in Germany.

Una depared for Lerwick at 0830 hours togeher with HMS Safari (Lt.Cdr.(Retd.) J.R.G. Harvey, RN) and HrMs Zeehond (Lt.Cdr. Baron D.T. Mackay, RNN). At 1300 hours, off Sanda Island, they were joined by their escort, the corvette HMCS Camrose (T/A/Lt.Cdr. L.R. Pavillard, RCNR). (4)
