Career information
From November 1959 through June 1962, this officer, then a Captain, was Commanding Officer of the Naval ROTC unit at the University of Rochester. From the November 1959 Rochester Review: "Capt. Cornelius P. Callahan, USN, has been appointed professor of naval science and commanding officer of the UR Naval ROTC unit, replacing Col. Noah J. Rodeheffer, USMC, who has been named advisor to the Korean Marine Corps.
