HMS Unruly (Lt. J.P. Fyfe, RN) fires two torpedoes against a (Spanish) merchant off Port Vendres, southern France. Both torpedoes missed their target.

HMS Unruly (Lt. J.P. Fyfe, RN) torpedoes and sinks the French merchant St Lucien (1256 GRT) off Port Vendres, southern France in position 42º31'N, 03º07'E.
16 May 1943
HMS Unruly (Lt. J.P. Fyfe, RN) torpedoes and damages the Italian merchant Nicolo Tommaseo (4573 GRT) about 5 nautical miles north-north-east of Catania, Sicily, Italy in position 37º35'N, 15º17'E.
The damaged Nicolo Tommaseo was sunk by Allied aircraft at Catania on 26 July 1943.

HMS Unruly (Lt. J.P. Fyfe, RN) torpedoes and sinks the Italian merchant Valentino Coda (4485 GRT, built 1924) 19 nautical miles bearing 309 of Cape Vaticano, Italy in position 38º52'N, 15º27'E.
At 0140 hours (time zone -2) Unruly sighted a merchant vessel of about 5000 tons escorted by 'what is identified as' a destroyer. Range was 10000 yards. An attack was commenced.
At 0200 hours four torpedoes were fired at a range of 3500 yards, about 2.5 minutes later two explosions were heard.
At 0204 hours Unruly dived. Ten minutes later 6 depth charges were dropped but these were a long way off.
13 Jul 1943
Shortly before 2100hours on 13 July 1943 HMS Unruly (Lt. J.P. Fyfe, RN) torpedoes and sinks the Italian submarine Acciaio (630 tons, offsite link) off Cape Vaticano near Messina, Sicily, Italy in position 38º35'N, 15º49'E.
At 2022 hours (time zone -3) a southbound Italian submarine was sighted. Unruly closed for a torpedo attack.
At 2049 hours four torpedoes were fired from 3000 yards. The first torpedo hit the target two minutes after firing. The other three torpedoes hit the coast and exploded.
