| Notes on loss | At 03.05 hours on 5 May 1942, the unescorted Lady Drake (Master Percy A. Kelly) was hit by one of two torpedoes from U-106 and sank in 25 minutes about 90 miles north of Bermuda. Six crew members and six passengers were lost. The master, 114 crew members and 141 passengers were picked up by USS Owl (AM 2) and landed at Bermuda. | ||
