| Notes on loss | At 23.47 hours on 30 Sep, 1942, the unescorted Siam II (Master Aage Larsen) was torpedoed by U-506 southwest of Monrovia and sank after being hit by a coup de grâce at 00.05 hours on 1 October. The master, 36 crew members and two gunners were picked up on 1 October by Nagpore and landed at Freetown. | ||
