| Notes on loss | At 01.05 hours on 12 Jun, 1941, U-558 torpedoed a ship which sank within 60 seconds north of the Azores. It must have been the Susan Mærsk (Master Kai Bjorn Thomsen), reported missing after being dispersed from convoy OG-64. The master, 21 crew members and two gunners were lost. | ||
