Notes on event | On 6 Feb 1945, U-1017 attacked convoy TBC-60 southeast of Durlston Head and claimed hits on two 6000 grt freighters. However, the only ship hit was Everleigh (Master William Henry Gould). Six crew members were lost. The master, 42 crew members and seven gunners were picked up by HMS LCI(L)-33 and landed at Portland. | ||
