The Pacific took part in Operation Dynamo, the evacuation of Dunkirk in May/June 1940 and rescued 945 men. 
Notes on event

At 05.30 hours on 26 March 1945 the Pacific in convoy BTC-108 was torpedoed and sunk by U-399 in the Bay of Falmouth. The U-boat was lost after the attack.
