Notes on event

At 08.02 hours on 23 Nov 1940 the Leise Mærsk (Master Peter Konge Mortensen) in convoy SC-11 was torpedoed and sunk by U-100 about 120 miles west of Rockall. The master and 16 crew members were lost. Seven crew members were picked up by a Dutch salvage tug and landed at Campbeltown.
