Notes on event | At 01.17 hours on 23 November 1940 the Bradfyne (Master Rupert Greville Vanner) in convoy SC-11 was hit amidships by one torpedo from U-100 and sank southeast of Rockall. The master, 37 crew members and one gunner were lost. Four crew members in a lifeboat were picked up two days later by the Norse King and landed at Belfast. | ||
