| Notes on loss | At 12.00 and 12.05 hours on 24 Jun, 1941, U-203 attacked the convoy OB-336 southeast of Cape Farewell and reported two ships sunk. In fact, only the Kinross (Master James Robson Reed) was hit and sunk. The master and 36 crew members were picked up by the HMCS Orillia (K 119) (LtCdr W. Edward S. Briggs) and landed at Reykjavik. | ||
