History Completed in July 1918 as fleet oiler War Server for The Shipping Controller, managed by Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co Ltd, London. 1919 sold to Greece, converted to steam merchant and renamed Kalypso Vergotti for Panaghis Vergottis, Argostoli. 
Notes on event

At 18.50 hours on 29 June 1941 the Kalypso Vergotti, a straggler from convoy SL-78, was hit by a torpedo from U-66 and sank within 50 seconds west of the Canary Islands. Two empty lifeboats and a few survivors swimming in the water were seen by the Germans after the attack.
