| Notes on loss | At 04.06 hours on 11 Sep, 1941, U-432 fired two torpedoes at two overlapping ships in the convoy SC-42 and observed one hit after 3 minutes 15 seconds. The ship hit was probably the Garm in station #24. The survivors were shortly thereafter rescued from their lifeboats by the Bestum and were landed at Reykjavik three days later. | ||
