History Completed in September 1911 as Roselands, 1920 renamed Bisley, 1933 renamed Vinodol, 1936 renamed Abgara 
Notes on loss At 22.11 hours on 6 May, 1942, the unescorted Abgara was hit in the bow by a G7a torpedo from U-108 15 miles southeast of Great Inagua Island, Bahamas. As the ship settled by the bow, the crew abandoned ship. At 22.23 hours, a first coup de grāce malfunctioned, but the second fired 16 minutes later hit underneath the bridge and caused the ship to sink after two minutes.
