| Notes on loss | U-77 reported that she had sunk eight sailing vessels with gunfire between 22 July and 16 August 1942. Six of these vessels were Vassiliki, Toufic El Rahman, St. Simon, Ezzet, Kharouf and Daniel. The Adnan was only damaged and a unidentified sailing vessel was sunk on 7 August. The Daniel (approx. 100 tons) was sunk at 23.34 hours on 16 Aug, 1942. | ||
