| Notes on loss | At 08.07 hours on 2 Nov, 1942, U-522 fired four torpedoes at the convoy SC-107 about 500 miles northeast of St. Johns and observed hits on four ships. However, only Maritima and Mount Pelion were hit and sunk. | ||
