| Notes on loss | At 00.51 hours on 10 Jul, 1943, the Scandinavia was stopped by U-510 off Dutch Guyana. At 02.50 hours, she was torpedoed and sunk in accordance with the prize rules in 07°58N/48°06W after the crew had abandoned ship in two lifeboats. The survivors made landfall at Paramaribo on 19 July. | ||
