| History | Completed in August 1935 as steam trawler RT-94 Zhdanov for Sevgosrybtrest NKRP. On 3 Jul, 1941, the ship was requsitioned by the Soviet Navy, converted to the patrol vessel SKR-66 (No 55) and assigned to the Northern Fleet on 29 July. On 13 Aug, 1941, assigned to the White Sea Flotilla. On 20 Sep, 1941, converted to the M/S trawler T-904 (No 58), armed with two 45mm guns and two machine guns. | ||
| Notes on loss | At 01.40 hours on 25 Jul, 1943, the T-904 (No 58) struck a mine, laid by U-625 on 20 July in Yugor Strait and sank after the explosion under the boiler room within two minutes on a depth of 16 meters. The ship was leading a Soviet convoy of 13 river ships and lost two officers and eight crewmen, while three other men were seriously wounded, among them the convoy commodore Capt 1st class A.K. Egorov. The wounded men were taken to the village of Khabarovo by the Soviet M/S trawler T-887 (No 32) while the remaining survivors were picked up by the M/S trawler T-879 (No 54) and landed at Belushja Guba. | ||
