| Notes on loss | At 03.21 hours on 18 Jul, 1944, U-479 fired a spread of two torpedoes at the MO-304 in the Viborg Bay and thought that she missed, but the submarine chaser lost her fore section. The after part was towed into port and repaired. | ||
