| History | Commissioned on 30 Nov, 1917 as German M-59 of the Minensuchboot 1916-class. On 2 Aug, 1922, bought by Lithuania and renamed Presidentas Smetona. The ship served as patrol ship, training ship and presidential yacht. On 22 Jun, 1940, the ship was taken over by the Sovietunion and initially renamed Primunas, but in August 1940 taken over by the NKVD as board guard ship in the Second Baltic detachment and renamed Korall. On 19 Aug, 1941, the ship was included in the Baltic Fleet as minesweeper T-76 Korall. | ||
| Notes on loss | At 10.25 hours on 11 Jan, 1945, U-745 fired two Gnats at two tugs towing a floating crane and heard two detonations. The T-76 Korall was hit and sank off Aegna Island. | ||
