Notes on event

At 18.33 hours on 26 December 1944 U-995 fired a torpedo at the unescorted RT-52 Som, which was hit after 30 seconds and sank within one minute about 30 miles north-northeast of Cape Svyatoj Nos. The only survivor was taken prisoner by the U-boat.
