History Built as Dunbridge 1923 renamed Brecon 1928 renamed Frangoula B. Goulandris.

In May 1940, the Frangoula B. Goulandris picked up five survivors of the Sheaf Mead, which had been sunk by U-37 (Oehrn) on 27 May and landed them four days later in Queenstown, Cork. 
Notes on event

On 29 June 1940 the unescorted Frangoula B. Goulandris was torpedoed and sunk by U-26 southwest of Ireland.
